Happy St. Patrick’s Day
Saturday, March 12th was the annual Rough Rider’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Did you know that GaYBOR District Coalition was the very 1st LGBT Float in a St. Patrick’s Day Parade. THREE CHEERS to the Very Hip people of Tampa.

From Friday, March 18th through Sunday March 20th the GaYbor Coalition will be hosting 66 Films who will be creating a Promotional Video highlighting the Ybor City Historic District as an LGBTA destination.
This video is being funded by VISIT FLORIDA. Once the filming schedule finalized it will be posted on line at https://www.facebook.com/events/570859456411825/ and we invite everyone to come and be a part of it!
Just come to the places we will be shooting at, have a drink, and support the business, and who knows you might end up in the final video!

Big Changes in Ybor City
This past Saturday at 3:01 AM, while most of us were sleeping a Big Change happened in Ybor City. The New 7-11 Convenience Store stayed open 24 hours. In the past ALL stores & restaurants in Ybor City were forced to close by 3AM. With the new president being set by 7-11, does this mean there will be 24 hour a day restaurants and other stores now open?
GaYBOR’s Labor “Gay” Bar Crawl
Festive partiers burned up the streets Sunday and participated in the Annual GaYBOR Labor ‘Gay’ Bar Crawl traveling to 9 gleeful clubs and restaurants throughout Ybor City. The annual colorful event was coordinated by GaYBOR treasurer, Walter Pinillos, Jesse Joseph and Mark Eary. The annual bar crawls help support GaYBOR community events and other organizations.
A grateful Thank You to Hamburger Mary’s, Ybor City Wine Bar, Cristino’s Italian Restaurant, Dog Bullocks, Reservoir bar, Bradley’s on 7th, Liquid Lounge, newly opened on 15th Street Mist Martini Bar and Honey Pot for their annual ” Labor Day Glow Party.”

The next GaYBOR District Coalition meeting will be Thursday, September 11 at Carmike Theaters 20 in Centro Ybor. This months speaker is TIGFF Director Margaret Murray talking about the very successful 25th Anniversary of Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival starting October 3-12th. TIGLFF is the world acclaimed gay film festival held here in Tampa Bay. www.gaybor.com, www.tigllff.com
GaYBOR District Coalition Float
The new GaYBOR President Michael “Sheriff” Wilson and GaYBOR members put on a great show for the St Pete Pride Parade. The float was covered in Rainbow boas, Rainbow flags and 60 Rainbow PRIDE decorated floatees. Being the first night parade for St. Pete Pride was not a deterrent for the GaYBOR partiers. The group has participated in the past 6 years Roughrider’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Ybor CIty. Night parades are different but the lights were on and the glitter flew.
