We’re getting ready for “Beer and Hymns” time again!!! On Tuesday, October 6th at 6:00 PM, join us once again at Hamburger Mary’s Clearwater for another entertaining and exciting adventure with great food and drink, amazing fellowship, and the chance to sing your favorite hymns and songs in a fun environment!
Hamburger Mary’s has a full menu featuring signature and world famous hamburgers, appetizers, dinner entrees, snacks and sides, and a full liquor bar serving up your favorite cocktails, wines, and beer. There are three great specials on Tuesday nights at Hamburger Mary’s: BOGO Burgers, special drink pricing, and free Tuesday Team Trivia. All the signature Mary’s hamburgers on the menu on Tuesday nights are “buy one, get one free!” What a deal! Also…it’s Trivia Night which begins at approximately 7:15 PM. We hope our people will stay and play this fun trivia game. 8/18: Tampa Tribune: Tampa company adds 108 jobs at Port Redwing – Tampa Tank adds 108 new, high-wage jobs and invests $18 million into their expansion at Port Redwing. 8/18: Tampa Bay Times: Tampa to expand rec center weekend hours, give teens free rec cards – Building on summer success, the City of Tampa extends its “Stay and Play” recreation program. More than 15,000 kids have participated so far. 8/19: Tampa Bay Times: Florida Crystals starts building $60 million midrise apartments in Tampa’s Channel District – FCI Residential, a Florida Crystals company, breaks ground on a new, Art Deco-inspired, eight-story, residential building adding another 300 residential units to the Channel District. 8/21: Tampa Bay Times: Murals to brighten a drab Tampa parking garage – Local muralists Tes One and Bask will transform the William F. Poe Parking Garage in downtown Tampa. Poe Parking Garage is immediately surrounded by several of Tampa’s cultural assets, and the vibrant design of the murals will interpret the call to “Stay Curious”, reminding guests of all ages to continue learning and experiencing the arts. 8/23: Tampa Tribune: New residences rising to challenge of more livable downtown Tampa – The demand for more urban living drives a realization of Tampa’s vision plan as a more robust urban core begins to take shape.

BOARD NOMINATIONS
The Nominating Committee of the Ybor City Development Corporation (YCDC), Inc. is seeking nominations for its 2015-2017 Board of Directors. The YCDC Board serves as the official Community Advisory Committee (CAC) to the City of Tampa and the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) on issues and policies affecting Ybor City. Nominees must represent one of the following Board categories: retail/arts, bar, restaurant, professional office, hotel/bed & breakfast, property owner, multi-family residential, entertainment/events, multi-use complex, and at-large. Terms of office are for two (2) years beginning October 1, 2015 and ending September 30, 2017.
Nominees must submit a CRA Community Advisory Committee Questionnaire, which can be obtained through the Ybor City Development Corporation office or online at www.tampagov.net/ycdc. Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. on August 7, 2015 to:
