    One of the shinning jewels in the GaYBOR Crown is Power Infinity. With his “can do”  attitude and creativity he is truly a treat to know. Please visit his facebook page of the complete bio. Here is the beginning. Power Infiniti (born Dale Wilson) is an International DJ and renowned performance artist, an entertainer who lip-syncs to dance music at clubs and Circuit events in semi-drag and often with a shaved head. His outrageous costumes (including headdresses that appear to grow out of his head), dancing skills, and choreography have made him an icon in the Circuit scene.

Patrick is a familiar face here in GaYBOR/Ybor City. The first thing Patrick did when he joined the team at Beaune’s Wine Bar / West Palm Wines was to suggest they join GaYBOR right away! Many members have been stopping by & falling in love with the fantastic food & great wines here. FYI Did you know Beaune’s is located in the fastest growing new Gay Neighborhood in Tampa Bay???

    Runner -Up to the BEST Cuban Sandwich Competition in Florida!!! Recently the Swiss delegation toured Ybor and tasted their first Cuban Sandwich at Stone Soup Co. Very interesting and all thumbs up! There is so much more you will find in this one of a kind specialty restaurant on 7th Ave. The menu is full of old family favorites and soup of the day. Local art collections on the walls and fun musicians playing for you. All that is incredible!!!  Did you know that every night the left over soups are donated to local charities! WOW that is fantastic. Chef – owner Ilya Goldberg is “Ybor’s Soupman”. Next time you’re in GaYBOR/Ybor City stop by and show some love.

(54)     If you recognize this painting then you know who David Edmund is!!! An contemporary artist born in Brazil. A person who can live anywhere in the world. This international known artist now calls GaYBOR/Ybor City his casa (home). A lot of his work is hanging in the King Corona Gallery on 7th.  Some of his work have made it into the rooms of local mayors homes.  We were very lucky to have David be one of the invited  artist in the “Pianos of Ybor” exhibit. Today you may see his piano at MC Film. David is what makes GaYBOR so wonderful

    Tampa Bay has had a number of PFLAG’s (Parents & Friends of Lesbian & Gays) organizations start and close. But because of these 2 devoted individuals John & Nancy Desmond, they have started a new Tampa chapter,created, generated a great awareness to the Gay youth right here in Tampa. They have been active members of GaYBOR District Coalition and recently had booths at St, Pete Pride and the First Pride Event held at the VA Hospital in Tampa
