Mike Olds and Scott Weichman
Two guys that work very hard for the community and for GaYBOR. A couple that moved and have invested in Ybor City and the businesses and organizations to make things happen. Both are BIG sports fans going and following Tampa Bay Rays, The Buccaneers and Lightning Hockey.
Mike is currently the GaYBOR Resident Board Member and works in Hillsborough Cty Schools System. Scott is your at the computer airlines representative making changes and plans on your daily air travel itineraries. This weekend you saw them selling 50-50 raffle tickets at all the clubs.
Thank You Mike & Scott for your devoted work and volunteerism in GaYBOR.

Stone Soup Company
Congratulations to GaYBOR member “The Stone Soup Company” on winning the “Best Cuban Sandwich” Award in the Miami- Tampa Cuban Sandwich Contest!!!! At the Stone Soup Company in Ybor City, the soup is hardly made with stones and there is a lot more than just soup. So why the name?
Similar to an old children’s story about a woman who makes an elaborate stew out of stone and feeds an entire village with it, this place may not use a stone, but it does focus on the same concept—simplicity. Taking a few fresh ingredients and whipping them into a wide selection of hearty soups, sandwiches and salads it offers an elaborate menu that can feed an entire village for the week….
The Stone Soup Company (NOT your average soup!) is located at 1517 E 7th Ave in Historic GaYBOR/Ybor City ( Next to King Corona across from Bradley’s on 7th).
