The beautiful flower bouquets were awesome at a well known and loved Tampa bartenders Celebration of Life .  Blount & Curry Funeral Home. Donnie Dennison had a very large clientele of patrons, friends and family. The dozen bars he worked at had the owners and fellow bartenders in large attendance. In fact local famous icon bartender Reno Marconi flew in from Boston.

The very packed service by Pastor included a strange request.

“The bar owners have asked I finish my service by 11:45 so they can open up their establishments by noon.” The solemn pastor announced. The funeral goers all broke out in laughter. Donnie worked at a long list of gay establishments including El Goya, Tracks, Annex, Howard Ave, Metropolis and Baxters.

A beautiful musical video tribute was done by Freddy Dever. He is survived by long time partner, Steve and family.
