Edina and Patsy WILL return one final time this autumn as the BBC celebrates its centenary and the show turns 30.
The 40-minute special entitled ‘Mother’ will provide a ‘definitive end’ to the adventures of PR Executive Edina Monsoon (Jennifer Saunders) and her best friend Patsy Stone (Dame Joanna Lumley)
The episode will be a celebration of the show as well as a ‘beautiful eulogy’ to the legendary June Whitfield who played Edina’s mother in the series.
Whitfield passed away in 2018.
