Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival (TIGLFF)
Sunday, August 18…2 screenings @ 3pm and 6pm Green Light Cinema
Kayden chose Moonlight with intention to highlight and center achievements by the black queer community. Moonlight was released as the first LGBTQ-themed mass-marketed feature film with an all-black cast and was, at the time of its release, the second-lowest-grossing film domestically (behind The Hurt Locker) to win the Oscar for Best Picture in 2017.

Freaks (1932)
First came Dracula then Frankenstein by Tod Browing. Then Tod made Freaks. Soon it was banned in USA and Europe. The cast came from an actual side show and were too real. It stayed banded until the 1960’s and today it is still banned in parts of America. You may view it today on Amazon Prime and YouTube. Watch it if you dare……
