Today we found this framed flyer in our closet. It is a welcome to LGBT Tampa brochure that we made in 1998. Zoom in and take a step back in time. City Side and the Sawmill are the only clubs still here. It was a time when Tampa had a LGBT Community Center. It was year 9 for Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival. Beachfest was in Daytona Beach. It was also the year The Suncoast Resort in St. Petersburg opened. What’s in your closet?
