Events held in March included but were not limited to:
• Tampa Pride, which was expected to bring in 80,000 people to Ybor City on March 26
• SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament, which was held from March 9 to 13 and saw entire streetcars filled with fans of Kentucky, Florida and other schools
• Six events at the Tampa Convention Center totaling approximately 19,000 attendees
