    Local landmarks,Ybor City buildings and people we know were featured nationally Monday night on the new TV season of ‘Investigative Discovery.’  ID reporter and TV Host Chris Hansen interviewed Dale Wilson (Power Infinity), Hamburger Mary’s owner Kurt King, Wanda’s sister Barbra Lee-Thomas and Tampa Police Dept detectives who were working on the case. He put the murder story all together.

     Anthony Jerome Lee known as tall 6′ 6″ drag performer ‘ South Beach‘Wanda’ was murdered in Tampa in May 2013. The outrageous costumed drag performing Whitney Houston was either very well liked or very much hated. She had performed at many of Ybor City’s bars. She was also a Baptist choir member and sang at the inauguration of Mayor Bob Buckhorn and Tampa City Council members in 2012..

    Arrested in the gun shooting and death was Lakeland resident Deandre Tolliver.
