With book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey and music by Tom Kitt, this rock opera explores how one suburban household copes with crisis and mental illness. The musical addresses such issues as grief, drug abuse, modern psychiatry and their impact on a family. Broadway World named mad Theatre the Best Community Theater Company in 2014.
