The craziness of the 84 year old evangelist, Pat Robertson is getting to the dementia-ated state. CNN TV anchor Anderson Cooper called out the far right ‘700 Club” TV host about his comments on “not getting Ebola in Kenya but have to be careful not to catch AIDS on the towels.”
“These people (homosexuals) are terrorists, they’re radicals, and they’re extremists,” the elder Christian conservative TV self made millionaire profit proclaimed. Then he called out ‘Houston Mayor Annise Parker, as being a ‘homosexual!’ Crazy, that was one of the points that the Houston voters knew about the classy city governing lady.

A new landscape hotel change is in the works for GaYBOR/ Ybor City. In front of the Barrio Latino Commission were plans for a new 184 four story hotel in the old Czar building and parking lot on 7th Ave. & 14th Street. We have heard of other hotels coming to Tampa and Ybor City and have left only memories! Just say’n.
Guavaween was held on a smaller scale in historic Ybor City at the Cuban Club & parking lot and had a great turnout. Also all the merchants in Ybor City had a great weekend of visiting and spending customers. Fantasma is a new Halloween venture which is sponsored by the 2 year old Ybor Merchants Association. Bed racing on 7th Ave and great pumpkin patch for kids and families in the Centro Ybor plaza..
Maybe we can all sleep better without all those nasty political ads on TV & radio this voting season. Oh do ‘GO VOTE.’
Hey Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is not giving up on stopping ” Same Sex Marriage Equality” in Florida even though the Florida Federal District Courts said they should begin. Oh Pam!!!

This week there was a nice lesbian couple in our store. They told us that they were legally married in their home state up north. The two were coming home from a trip to South America. At the customs in Miami, Florida they watched as married couples walked up to the custom agents together. Then the two of them walked up together. The agent told them one at a time a. The couple said “We are legally married” The agents said “NOT in Florida!!! Now get back behind that line or I will call security.”

TECO Streetcar Concert
On Saturday, November 1, TECO streetcar riders will be treated to live music from musicians Will Quinlan and Mountain Holler, two artists handpicked by Gasparilla Music Festival.
Taking advantage of the unique and intimate atmosphere of the historic streetcars, the two acts will perform on board the Streetcar, between Centennial Park Station (Station #1) and Whiting Station (Station #11) from 7-9 p.m. Will Quinlan and Mountain Holler will board the 6:40 pm streetcar from Centennial Park.
The rolling concert series is all ages and included in the TECO Line Streetcar System fare, just $2.50 for a one-way ride or $5.00 for an all-day pass.
