Susan Donovanne Fund

THE SUSAN DONOVANE FUND

TransGender-TampaBay, Inc., an organization that promotes equal rights and treatment for Transgender people and encourages cooperation within the LGBT community, is reaching out.

November 17, 2012

Susan Donovane PhotoSusan Donovane was recently involved in a tragic accident.

She was run over by her own car while checking an engine noise. The car apparently slipped into gear while she was standing in front of it.

Susan is suffering from a crushed pelvis, bleeding lungs, a broken collar bone, crushed and broken ribs just to name a few injuries. They tried to do surgery on her pelvis yesterday but had to stop because her lung collapsed and blood pressure was dangerously low. They put a feeding tube in and she is in a medically induced coma to help her pain and labored breathing.

She is at very high risk of blood clots because of heavy smoking and taking hormones. Please say a prayer for her. If she gets through the roughest part, it’s going to be a very long road to recovery. The doctors are talking 10 weeks in the hospital and then rehab. She was self employed as a MHP handy person and has no medical insurance.

Please send your kind thoughts and prayers.

From: TransGender-TampaBay

Over the last few years, I have had the pleasure of working with “Susan” and Debi, in various Trans Gender organizations. They have always done their best to be an asset to the community, both with sharing their knowledge with other “girls” and helping various TG groups.

In their time of need, TGTB has set up the “Susan Donovane Fund”, please consider donating through the PayPal link below, or sending a check or money order to the address listed below.

Thank you for any help you may be able to give.

Brianna Lovely – Director, TransGender-TampaBay, Inc.
